any guesses about how far the price of a normal old xbox will drop?

umm maybe 159.99. See the 360 wont play your old xbox games so the first xbox is not going to be obsolete for awhile, thus M$ can keep the price up there.
Ps2's on the other hand are dropping to $129.99 (can) this winter.

You can play (some) xbox 1 games on the xbox360, but you have to have the 20GB HD. *J Allard said it, so it must be true!

it will only emulate games. and only CERTAIN games ...microsoft's best sellers. And according to microsoft they have no plans on working on emulation for launch.

The only game(s) that should be emulated is Halo 1+2 for the online play. I dont know why everyone on the xbox forums is making such a fuss about it for. Why do you want to play old games? Its not like M$ has a deep rich history of great games or classics like Sorny and especially Nintendo. Speaking of Nintendo the coolest thing with the new "Revolution" is that you can download every Nintendo game made from day 1 on it and play them, thats major cool.

couldnt agree more king. I will be buying a nintendo just for that reason. I too dont freakin understand why someone would want to play an old shitty game on a new next gen system... yay madden 2004!!! woot!!!
