Just read where the super fury animals ( members of wilco and sonic youth) have a new album coming out called phantom power. wonder if they ever listened to the hips album of the same name?

I heard a little bit about that cd. I'd imagine that they might have heard the hips album since they toured with them on a roadside tour. But who knows.

I'm looking forward to it either way. I just picked up Minus 5 - Down with Wilco the other day. Great stuff.

Where'd you read about super furry animals being members of wilco and sonic youth? I can't find anything about it. Near as I can tell they're all from cardiff.

sorry my mistake i new the band name had fur in it but the sonic youth and wilco combination is in the band loose fur not super furry animals

Ahhh, loose fur. I read a bit about that on Wilco's site. Didn't realize members of sonic youth were in it too. Thanks for clarification.
