Man I've been meaning to get this one. Couldn't find it at the A and B here in Calgary last week though.

Was it the one down south? That store sucks. Everytime I go in there looking for something a little bit obscure, like Son Volt, they never seem to carry it. The one up north near Sunridge has a MUCH better selection. I ended up finding a copy at Megatunes for $20.99. It's one of those dual-disc releases with the album on one side and a DVD on the other side featuring a documentary on the making of the album. Pretty cool stuff.

Futureshop had it for $16.99 online, but it was one of those dualdisks with a DVD on the otherside. I bought the Ben Folds like that and the CD side was a little flakey in my CD players

Ya, it was the A and B down South. I have a buddy that lives right around there so it's a handy place to go. They used to have a better selection but I've been pretty dissapointed lately.
I'll find it though, I'll also be tuning into letterman tonight. Thanks for the heads up.

Most a pitty,
I live in Kansas City. Transplated Chicagoan. Love son volt and wilco (the band that some son volt members formed after son volt). Excellent album. Since they are from near here, I have been fortunate to see them twice. Great band.

I saw them on letterman, they were pretty good, I had heard a few tunes before. I had some trouble making out the singers lyrics though.

Finally was able to find it. On the first listen I'm pretty impressed with it. I love Jay's voice and the amped up sound of the whole disc is great. I'm sure it'll be getting it's fair share through the rotation in the next little while.
