Yes, yes, yes, and yes...unfortuantely one of those can never be...such a shame.
... and once Scott Weiland injects himself back into jail, or worse death, there'll be another band that can never be.

Limblifter is still around. Their last album was probably their best!

They just toured not too long ago, and put an album a few years ago. Fantastic album too.

Yes, they did - it's called Strays and it's a fine album. But 1) it was sans original bassist Eric Avery Cry , and 2) will they even make another? Quite a murky outlook, knowing those personalities.

But oh, what could have been in that decade of inactivity....that void cannot be filled, and how I wish that they had maintained that continuity and momentum and given us more to enjoy. I think Nothing's Shocking and Ritual de lo Habitual are both legendary hard-rock albums, and they were only the first and second of JA's polished studio releases. Look at what the Hip accomplished after UTH and RA - now imagine what Jane's Addiction's Fully Completely, DfN, PP, etc. would have been like!

Wow.

I've actually been listening to it for the past couple 2/3 days...great album, but it came out in 2000. Unless they have regrouped and put a new album out, or unless Ryan Dahle has put another band together, i'm pretty sure they are a done deal.

Kurt Dahl and Todd Fancy are now in The New Pornographers.

edit:

I did a search and low and behold Ryan Dahle put a new band together and pumped out an album last year. I'm curious to hear it now.

Billy...It was called I/O.
I don't know how new it was...I think it's newer than 2000, though.
