I know what you mean, Gratts. I believe that there are 3 on Ontario St. alone. There's one next to Boston Pizza, and that other one closer to the corner of Ontario and Linwell...and I think there's one up the road closer to Wright's, but I could be wrong about that one. But we are definitely overrun by them!

Here's something I've wondered for a while... does the original store on Ottawa Street still stand in Hammer Town? (That was the first one ever) If so, is it acknowleged, like a museum inside or something?
That would be like a religous trip for me, visiting the first Tim Hortons

Thorold (where I live), with a measly 18 000 for its population, has two! One by the arena, and another by Brock University, right on the Thorold/St. Kitts border.

I was in St Anthony, Newfoundland, earlier this summer and was stunned to find a Tim's there. I think I heard their population was around 3,000.

From yesterday's New York Times:
"Tim Hortons customer loyalty and market domination is without a direct parallel in the United States. The chain holds about 70 percent of the country's coffee market and 26 percent of all fast food sales. There is one Tim Hortons outlet for every 12,800 Canadians. Mr. Kolpak estimates that is about four times the market penetration of McDonald's restaurants in the United States."

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”
