Does anybody else find it funny watching other people trying to play The Hip...I've been to a bunch of "tribute" shows....Comfortably Numb and Kashmir come to mind and i rather enjoyed watching those shows. But for whatever reason I have a hard time watching other people try to play TTH...including a good friend of mine who plays in a Hip tribute band. They are all really talented, including this band, but something just isn't right...
btw- nice video work BigA

I've always found it odd that these tribute bands play "Hip Halloween" every day of the week and feel content with it. Wouldn't musical ambition drive you to break out of the tribute act and write your own stuff? I know Jeremy Hoyle does his own stuff, I wonder how many of these acts tour exclusively as Hip impersonators?
