Yes, my PC still has a floppy disk drive, that for some reason my friend used.
She had a couple of reports on a floppy disk - She hit the "send to" button and it took them off of the floppy, but put them nowhere.
Any help on retrieving them?
I know when you take files off of a CD they are technically still there.
Is there any way there is still a "ghost" image on the floppy I can retrieve?
Thanx.

if she used the "send to" from the floppy then they should still be there' 'send to' copies them... not moves them

They are still on the disk - I am just not able to recover them.
I can see them with some evaluation versions of recovery software, but they want $60 to let me have them.
All of the freeware programs I have tried will not even show me they are there - but of course the ones I have to pay for show them.

A. Do a search on the entire c: drive for the files.
B. Try the floppy in another computer.
C. Reboot and try again.

I have tried everything - from different computers to different operating systems.
The non free programs show me they are there - but the free ones will not.
