Does anybody else here watch this show? It is on at 10:00 pm ET every Tuesday on FX. It lasts 1 hr and there are only 3 or 4 commercials. It is a cop based show, actually The Strike Team in Los Angeles. They constantly do things their own way, kicking ass and taking names later. The stuff they get themselves into in unbelievable. How they sometimes get out is even better. The show also focuses in on the Police Captain, 2 Detectives and a few individual street officers. Believe me, this is no ordinary cop show. The writing to this show is absolutely brilliant!

It is very addicting and almost everybody who watches both the Sopranos and The Shield say they like the Shield better as it is much more intense. The show definitely pushes the limits as to what should be allowed on cable TV, but it is great.

I have gotten my whole college hockey team hooked, my family, and my girlfriend. Even got a couple of teachers that I have worked with hooked. We would pack about 20 people in a room to watch this when I was away at college!

I'm not sure if you guys get this in Canada but Season 1 and Season 2 are out on DVD. Season 3 is in progress right now, the season finale is next Tuesday. You have got to give it a try. The best show on TV right now, hands down.

hey drez i have watched a few episodes but i always forget to tune to fx

did you know that the band klear from buffalo had one of their songs played on the show i think it was last week in a bar scenc the song was called comeback

Yes awsome show, a few episodez I loved when they went to mexico,had that dude in their trunk at the border, that was wild, um the onez involveing that lunatic with the brother who was in jail, the guy who burned that 1 copz face on a stove., i seen both seasonz. I hope they keep with the in your face action/drama that been done so far....

I love the Shield...we never miss an episode! I completely agree with the Sopranos/Shield opinion, I love both shows, but The Shield is just over the top cool. It never seems to let me down, unlike Sopranos..(this season's ending left alot to be desired. I think they should have saved the Adrianna execution for the wrap up.)

Anyway, yes...another Shield lover here :thumb:

10:00 PM on FX, I am surprised someone dug this thread up. I am very excited about the new season. I have no idea what to expect! I do know it will be intense. I knew there was debate over whether a 4th season would run, and I hope this isn't the last. I wonder if Vic and the strike team will be able to cover all of their tracks this time arounds. The previews looked interesting and didn't give much away at all. Only a few hours left til showtime!!

So what the hell was Shane up to, any speculation? It seems like he's continuing down a dark path, while the rest of the team is trying to clean up their acts. This is going to get very interesting.

Glenn Close was great, but not what I expected. I figured she'd come in real bitchy and butt heads with Vic right off the bat, but she didn't. In retrospect, that would have been way too easy (and obvious) for the writers. It looks like we're going to get a slow build up this season, which is cool. I mean the shit can't hit the fan every single episode, right? Although that confrontation scene between Vic and David was awesome!

Nice opening episode, nice introduction for Glenn. Looking forward to next week.

I really like Glenn Closes's character..nice addition. I am having a hard time getting used to the strike team split though, although I know it wont last.

Awesome start! Shane was getting to the dead guy's cell phone because his number was in there. Just trying to clear his tracks.

I kind of like this set up, but it looks like a new team will be put together under a different name. If Mackey gets it together, he might have a say in who joins.

Glen Close was great too. It won't be too long until it starts to get crazy every episode.
