Who do you think does the clapping on Boots or hearts?

I'd have to put my money on the Gords, with a couple o' well-placed claps by Paul.

Hahahah... Yes, Stephen, you have learned the secret. Everytime someone claps while listening to that song, Hugh and I each get a penny. Quite the lucrative deal, although I have long since run out of penny rollers.

i loved watching gord s. during the intro to boots or hearts at the toronto show recently... he gave a few rounds of double clap then single clap, and then just starts clapping wildly off beat seeming to mock everyone who couldn't quite get the beat down... i laughed

Now that you mention it, I noticed Sinclair clapping in Hamilton and Ottawa too. I noticed at the Nov 29 show that Paul just cradles his beer for the first minute of the song, I guess it's tough to clap with a Heineken in your hand.

Not only that, but Paul obviously knows for sure that it's a crime to waste beer by spilling it like that. :thumb:
