Prison Guards Find Basketball Full of Pot

McALESTER, Okla. - Basketballs are usually puffed up with air, but somebody found a way of inflating one with a substance usually associated with puffing of another kind.



Oklahoma State Penitentiary officials cut into an exercise-yard basketball and found nearly two pounds of what is believed to be marijuana stuffed inside.


Acting on a tip from McAlester police, prison officials searched the yard and found the basketball, which held 30 one-ounce packets of the leafy substance.


They seized the basketball from the Talawanda Heights unit, which houses 65 minimum security inmates for the prison and sits away from the main part of the facility.


Department of Corrections spokeswoman Linda Morgan said two inmates are on lockdown in connection with the seizure.


Morgan said officials don't know how the basketball got on the prison grounds.

Out of all the places that I think would be a good idea to have mandatory pot consumption, prisons is one of them. I say we make them smoke pot to chill the hell out. And if we are gonna make prisoners smoke pot I think we should also force a joint into the prison guards mouths as well. Those places would be a hell of alot calmer. The prison budget would go up 20 million a year in snacks though.

This store has been in the news a lot lately, and Vancouver Police don't seem too concerned. I watched an interview with neighbourhood residents who liked having the store nearby because it eliminated all of the dealers from the street. :thumb:

Yeah, haha, I just happened to pick up some amazing stuff the other day from their friendly service:mrgreen: . You just walk in they hand you a menu, and do your thing. Very professional, like any old business. The prices are very reasonable, and you can take a table and smoke in there.

But now their covers kinda blown, its been all over the news lately, and in ther process of being shutdown.

But these shops will keep popping up, this is only the beginning (and a HUGE step). This movement cannot be stopped. Its like napster in a strange way suppose.

Talk about a progressive society. Makes me proud.
