Hey folks, I'm new to the list. I'm going to Montreal with my bf to see the October 12th show. I'm excited cause I'm a newbee to hip and can't wait to see them in such a small venue and meet all these crazy rabid hipsters my bf talks about.
Is anyone else going to be there??

She's going with her boyfriend because he is a hip nut who's probably taking her there for a fun weekend to see the best band ever. Good luck finding hipchicks. My gf never liked them before but after listening to my cds over and over, I'm happy she likes the band and finally understands my obsession. It's even better we can share the fun together when we go to shows together.

My other half didnt really like the Hip either but has come to like them from me playing all their tunes from the past to present. I've even caught her singing along to them! She thinks Gord is whacked, but also knows he's a genuis just listening to the lyrics and his live rants. She's a psych major and keeps bringing up the fact she could probably write a book on the him.

Who ya going to the show with??? Serena and I are meeting up with Rory Young before the show to talk and stuff. Are you staying in Montreal for the weekend? We're staying at the Travelodge which is right around the corner from the show. Do you have a cell phone so maybe you can could hook up or something as well with all of us?
