I was at the movie theatre on sunday night watching the bourne supremecy (great movie by the way). Anyways while waiting for the movie, they usaly play music. And some maybe older(?) blues type of song was on......
and all of a sudden i hear a line in the lyrics say "just like the tragically hip, you are ahead by a century"

anybody know this song?

Casey and I were lucky enough to meet him in Ottawa last year ago while waiting FOUR hours in the freezing cold to see Gord do "IF I had a Hammer" at K-OS's "Concert for Peace."

We never did get in, but I think Casey got a T-shirt?

I think I reached up for a shirt when he was tossing them into the crowd, but sadly I wasn't able to snag one. That was a very cold night. Remember the "fuck the Junos" chant? That was great. And it was fun booing all the record industry weasels who kept pulling up in limos and sauntering into the club without having to show any kind of pass or ticket, while us poor bottom feeders stood there in the snow freezing our asses off. Thinking about that now, it still pisses me off a little.

I didn't know the new album was out yet. I've only heard B-Boy Stance and it's fantastic.
