I almost fell out of my chair when I saw Vancouver score after Iggy missed that empty net shot.

I did fall outta my chair. Well that's not true, I was already standing in anticipation for the win, so I guess I really just sorta fell outta the air.

When the 'Nucks scored with 5 seconds left in regulation, I was totally convinced that the Flames are cursed. My buddy said "we are now officially the Boston Red Sox of the NHL." But then, 1:25 into overtime, and that magical goal by Gelinas...ah, sweet vindication!!! As a Flames fan since birth, this feels so great. This city went nuts last night. You'd think we'd won the Cup or something. Craig Conroy even called the local fan phone-in show after the Flames' plane landed back in Cowtown. He was so jacked-up and excited. He didn't sound like an NHL player at all, but like a little kid who had just played a big game on the pond in the backyard. What a guy!
