Normally something like this wouldn't bother me, but this time it kinda does. Personally I think this album is an artistic triumph for the band, and it's easily the best thing they've done since Phantom Power. I think it more than deserves a spot on any best-of list for 2016. But hey, maybe that's just me.

Good to see Secret Path on there at least.

I found it very odd too. Based on the other choices though I think this album is too mainstream, and therefore not cool enough for the CBC experts.

Out of curiosity, did the Hip ever release a third single off MMP? They released In a World Possessed by the Human Mind in April and Tired as F**k in May but was there ever a third release? Only on occasion do I flip on the radio but I was really hoping to one day hear Machine (or anything else off MMP) over the airwaves. July or August would have been the perfect time for the release of another single as it might have gotten the album a little more attention, in addition to all the media coverage focused on the tour.

I don't believe so, didn't see anything from them officially after Tired as F**k

"Machine" is currently on CBC Radio top 20 and I've heard it a few times regularly on 94.9 recently. Not really an official single but it's getting some attention.

Was "What Blue" not a single? I heard it on the radio a couple times in summer.

I heard it on 88.3 in the tri cities. I think it's Conestoga College's station. Probably my favourite song on the album..

I wonder if this was the original track list for dougie stardust? Then it was switched up before finally released as MMP?
