Nice interview. Dame's the official Hipstorian, in my book.
Maybe we 'basers are (or may be just I am) too obsessed, but I find it a little disheartening that a Canadian music/pop culture author/journalist and alleged Hip fan only recently "stumbled onto" A Museum After Dark.

The article comments on Dame's website appearing a bit dated, but that's one of the things I love about it. To me, it really has the feel somehow of being in a museum after closing time, maybe even after it's been closed down completely. Everything is still & quiet, I feel like I want to whisper as I walk through it, even though it's a website lol.
Dame is the original "Completist"--he says in the interview ""I have to find all the live recordings I can, I have to buy everything that’s available"-& I appreciate that there's so much information & such detail that you can dive in & stay under for hours. It's like following Alice down the rabbit hole--he's gone on this journey of research & speculation, & he's left his tracks behind him for the rest of us to follow.
The new site CBC has done is also really good. The visuals & layout are really appealing, they put a lot of time & energy into it.

Tsk Tsk Mr. Dame,
The Ottawa Sun said today that Gord Sinclair writes the setlists, and it made it seem like that was information you gave them.
For shame. You need to poke around the 'Base a little more!
I revoke your Biggest Fan title and hereby award it to that guy from the Periscope last night who loved it when they played Save The Planet.
