Confusedhock: So I count about 40 songs that collectivelly this topic suggests be scratched off their setlists.
Seems a little extreme, no?

"we've only got three hundred feet to go ..."

Out of the 30+ Hip shows I've attended, I've heard that song exactly once at a show in Boston on the IVL tour, and I have a fantastic live recording of it from the "Live 10" series they released on iTunes a few years back. And that's about it. It's too bad they never play it, because it's a great song with a killer riff, a catchy as hell chorus, and some terrific lyrics. That tune should have been a huge hit single, but for some strange reason it fell between the cracks.

ONE time??? Geez, I don't feel so bad now then. Still, I imagine it's killer live and I will keep my fingers crossed for the Dec 7 show, though unlikely it seems!

wow....i can't believe how many of you hate In View. I dig that song.

always Locked, Grace & Nautical

I'm bored of NOIS, MMAW and ABAC.....

I agree about courage and any other song he now just SCREEEEAAAMS during. which is why i'm a little iffy on some of the new tunes. don't get me wrong, I dig em. but i'm not crazy about ever chorus involving a screaming contest.

i'd like to see them put on their big boy pants and play a show without any of those songs. no Grace, NOIS, ABAC, nautical, courage, little bones etc.

force them to actually re-learn some of their older material rather than just phoning it in night after night

My least favourite single over the years would have to be Summer's Killing Us.

It really bothers me that i've never managed to hear them play Greasy Jungle...hands down my favourite hip song, and just one of my favourite songs ever in general. NOIS was really cool on Saturday at Ivor Wynne, they played half of it, did Nautical, then finished NOIS. It was outstanding.

They do not need to play the title track from the new album -way too "Country of Miracles" for me.

At Transformation, however is one of their best tracks...EVER, and is a must play live song.

I, too, can live without hearing Courage for the millionth time but can't get enough of Grace Too.
