Musictoday - $40.81 Canadian, total + duty if they charge me

Futureshop - $16.09 Canadian, total

I called MusicToday, they said I couldn't cancel because the item was already shipped? WTF, they should not ship until tomorrow.

you should never order cds or dvds from the US.. Canada has much cheaper prices... electronics are a good bet to buy in the US though... especially with the Canadian dollar so high..

Yeah, but that doesn't go for all businesses, Lance
Don't be so quick to shoot us all down, here in the states.
Don't forget we have a used cd/dvd store that you are including in this. Without international orders, we would be hurting.
Just a thought.

We don't make it a point to rip people off...

I understand, I just can't believe the difference in price. You should buy up a few of those $13.99 DVDs. You could make a few bucks.

i'd return it, you'll save some$$$... future shop is an american franchise since they are owned by best buy, its hard to find a truly canadian store with comparable prices to future shop and walmart!

I stopped ordering from the US after the Canadian dollar dropped to 65 cents US. Now that it's up to 76 cents, I was thinking about maybe ordering things from eBay again...but I have always found that online American stores have always been more expensive than Cdn ones. eBay is really the only place I ever found better deals outside Canada.

i never use ebay.COM only ebay.CA. Might as well keep my $$ in canada. That and it is hard to find people in the states that will ship to canada for a fair price
