I was wondering if anyone here happened to rip the audio.
The HD broadcast is available on Demonoid to download.

Thanx.
But I am just looking for the audio.
I have the video, but I am being lazy.

I thought the ACL performance was much better than the Saturday Night Live one the week before. I looked all over and couldn't PVR it on the HD PBS channel I get, so all I have is the regular version. I will look to download a better copy.

I gotta say... and no disrespect to those who like them... but I was incredibly disappointed by Them Crooked Vultures. The album is... average at best. It just sounds like Queens of the Stone age to me, but the songs drag on for way too long, and I just get bored.
Saw them live in plymouth, and was again disappointed. Barely any stage presence really, they came on and played. No real interaction with the crowd, and they dragged the songs out for far too long. I kinda like the band to interact with the crowd, or joke around or something. But they just came on "Here's this song" PLAY "Here's this song" PLAY. I left after about 30 minutes, I just couldn't take any more.

Bought a ticket for the May show in Chicago. Does someone who's seen them have an opinion on whether the pit is likely to kick my ass? (It's at the Aragon, which is all GA; I'm pretty small and usually go to shows by myself.) I don't necessarily mind, but I like to be prepared.

I saw the Columbus, OH show last fall (in a relatively small GA venue before the album dropped), and I didn't see any "rowdiness". According to my unscientific demographical survey at this particular show, the crowd skewed to the 'older' range (lots of 30-40-somethings in attendance), and hence, was rather subdued.

Maybe the demographic will be younger at your show, now that the record has been out for awhile and the band has gained followers. But either way, I think you'll be fine in the pit.

Awesome! Thanks for the intel. I'm really looking forward to the show. The Aragon isn't my favorite place ever, but this should be a good time.

I saw em at the Sound Academy last year. it was the 2nd loudest show ive been too . I recorded the show as well, the sound stinks, but hd. They sounded sik though, a heavy clash between blues and contemporary sounds. i threw up thier longest jams and one of the best of the night; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgEAkPWlrBQ..
