If The 13 Man is your Worst Nightmare isn't the defintion of an Ironic statement, then I don't know what is :nooooo
I'm still fucking pissed off :rambo:
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I saw highlights of the debackle that was the end of that game, but what can you expect it's CANADIAN football. It's like rockin out to a Hip cover band. It's just silly, trying to change a few rules and calling the game your own-12 players, 3 downs those ridiculously HUGE Endzones, I won't even mention haw many freckin' teams you have named Roughriders ....Ooops just did, which won lost that game? Can we please just move The Bills to Toronto and Jacksonville to Calgary and get rid of the CFL. That's what you get when you get a collection of players who can't play and coaches who can't coach in the Bigs. The Warren Moon/Doug Flutie days are gone.
Sorry had to stir the pot a little this morning- I'm looking at a 4 year sentence between Hip shows with the last Denver cancellation.

Thanks Grimes,
Using Wikipedia to prove I'm an Idiot even hurts more, way to pour salt on the wounds! O.K. maybe you guys are down to only one Roughriders, but how the hell would I know? and which won was it? Anyhow, wouldn't you really rather have a Toronto and Calgary in the NFL and not have do deal with rooting for American teams or having to watch your backpack flag patch league! You know a Canadian invented basketball too!
I will give you guys love for Labatts Blue, Molson Canadien, the Yukon Territory, all parts north of Prince George, B.C., Crown Royal, Bob and Doug Mackenzie (it is X-Mas), Rush, TPB, and DAS HIP.
But Please it's the "Grey Cup".....Who want's to play for a "Grey Cup" the Irony is in the name alone
Wow, tough day for me only 700 more till next Colorado Hip show...AGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
Happy Holidays All

They're two very different sports. I know people who swear by the CFL and those who swear by the NFL. One's not necessarily "better" than the other. NFL just has a much larger television and media market to rake in a buttload more cash than the CFL.

Not that there can't be exciting CFL games... I just find there is way too much punting.
Go Colts.

i love both equally. there is no question that the nfl has better talent, its not even close. i give the entertainment edge to the cfl though.the thing i hate about the nfl is that if a team has a 10 pt lead with 4 minutes left, its pretty much a lock with their 40 second play clock. in the cfl you can see 28 pts scored in that time  a game is never over until its over.hell, the alouettes led the grey cup for exactly zero seconds and won

The NFL is better than the CFL overall, just because of the talent level being that much higher, BUT, that being said, the Grey Cup is almost ALWAYS a better game to watch than the Superbowl. The Grey Cup is also a much older trophy/tradition, and it's not all about the halftime show, or the commercials, or the food, it's all about the football.
This year's game was a classic, one of the most memorable finishes to a football game that I've ever seen for sure. A tough pill to swallow for Riders fans, but at least they won in 07. I wouldn't be surprised to see these same teams meet up in the finals next year.

In honor of the only professional football game to be played in Canada this year the Bills will punt on 3rd down and play with 12 men on the field at least once and play horribly as usual but still win 15-12.
