Has your buddy ever seen or used an iPhone? And the N95, like the iPhone, is not (AFAIK) available in Canada, nor supported here. What network in Canada is supporting the N95?

He bought it off craigslist for a vast sum of money, more than I spent on my TV.

His phone definatly works here and is supported by one of the networks, but he's on vacation today so I can't ask him, but I'll find out on Monday....

He sent me some links to some youtube vids where these guys basically rip off the whole mac vs pc commercials, but using the n95 vs iPhone....it's pretty weak (the youtube vids)

Verizon just announced a new phone to take on the iphone.
I do not know how great/horrible it will be, but it does flip open to reveal an even larger screen with a full qwerty keyboard, a built in GPS and runs on a faster network.
