what's the occasion for this show in BC? With TTH being on hiatus since the end of the IVL tour it probably would ahve to take a cause or occasion of some sort to get them out to BC for a show. Anyone know what's up?

Welcome to Hipbase Briansmccabe . I'm heading to that show , and I'm pretty sure that's B.C. Day , other than that I don't know why , but am thankfull . I'll take a wild stab and say you're a Leafs fan .:wink: I've been wrong before , many times actually :wink: . Or is that your name ? Just Curious ..

Actually, it's my real name. I get the "are you on the Leafs??" thing all the time when I post in TTH-related forums, and I never get it anywhere else. I guess that illustrates the corellation between Hip fans and hockey fans - not that the existence of that corellation was ever in doubt.
I'm not a Leafs fan per se. I'm a Sabres fan, having spent a good chunk of my life in Buffalo. But I have no problem with the Leafs either. I have an appreciation for the Leafs mystique, and I root for them in the post-season, provided they're not playing the Sabres. But that has nothing to do with the defenseman of the same name on the team. He could get shipped to Atlanta tomorrow, and I really wouldn't care.
(I must admit that I did relish the '99 eastern conference finals, when the Sabres stomped the Leafs. It was great to see the whole stretch between Bflo and TO in a hockey-induced frenzy.
