Here's my original list, posted in December:

That's a good idea....I had to go back and see what I posted then to see if it has changed, and 'sho nuff', it did, and it made me think a little more about how I might rank these tunes. My conclusion:

a) LNIDYDLM is a lock for my favorite on the album
b) Ocean is a lock for my 2nd favorite
c) Fly, Kids & Family Band are in a constant state of flux for spots #3, #4, & #5
d) World Container is a lock for #6
e) Luv (sic), Pretend, & Drop Off are mired in spots #7-#9, and I really don't care how it shakes out
f) I like Rink more than In View, but far less than the others.
g) In View is Coconut Cream's fairer-yet-positively-ugly younger sister, and is a lock for my least favorite.

I have to agree with HE re. LNIDYDLM as a favourite on the CD. I just don't think any of the other songs touch it.

The rest appeal to me or don't appeal to me depending on how I feel that particular day. I'm nothing if not fickle.

I have to say though, Pretend doesn't hit the bottom of my list. I quite like it - the change in mood or whatever. The only thing I'm not keen on is the fact that the piano wasn't played by a band member. I prefer to imagine Sinclair or Rob at the piano rather than some kid Rock knows. Call me a traditionalist. Or a snob. The latter is probably truer than the former.

Well I listed Fly, Pretend, and WC as my bottom three. I can see why Fly is appealing to a lot of people...I've never been keen on it, but that'll probably change in a couple of years. Pretend, I suppose, just isn't aggressive enough for someone in their early twenties. I just listened to WC three times because I want to make it work, but it's an utter mess to me.

I love it all. I think that this album is their best since , PHANTOM POWER.

The DROP-OFF live is just mind blowing.

1. The Kids Don't Get It
It's been my favorite song on the album since the first time i listened to it in the car on the way home from buying the album last fall. And honestly, I think it just might be my favorite Hip song period...top 5 at least. And I agree with Kleh, the louder the better for this one!

The rest I'm not even going to try to rank, I love the entire album from start to finish. Rink, Fly, Family Band and World Container (in no particular order )are probably the next favorites though...again though, I just LOVE this album.
