...finally...anyway, if you've got a minute, check out some of the shots I took from the three shows I took in from Das Hip's recent eurotrip...some are better than others, but if you peek around, I hope you find something you like...
Props to Dusty for being my blocker and holding my spot for my beer breaks...

Great pics!
Anyone else notice that in the European shows Johnny has a new orange kit, with bigger toms? I wonder if he's changing over from the midnight blue Ayotte he'd been using for a few years. He still had the same snare and crash though.

Hi, I am new here. I was at the Euro tour with the group from hipfans.com. I only got one good shot of the band. Actually it is a bad shot, but the subject is good. It is GD warming up backstage at Weert. That show was golden... Gord was happy, talking and dancing lots.

The drumkit is actually just a natural wood finish, if it looks orange it's probably from the lighting. It's also possible that this kit was just for Europe as I'm pretty sure (from what I can tell in my pictures anyways) he had his blue kit at the shows I saw in Canada/US before the Eurotrip.

Hey Chris! I've been reliving the 90's since getting back to Canada. I guess I was into heavy metal back then (in the 90's), and when the "new" mellow hip albumns came out, they lost me. I even lost my copies of henhouse and phantom and bought them again but didn't listen to them. Now having seen every song on those albumns live, I can't get them out of my head. Man that tour was good for me--I see the Hip in a whole new light. Thanks again for all your effort, eh. Heck I just found a live Hip cd called Eat Me Completely that I never listened to.

(if so, I'm scared that I can spot a place I've never been into by it's window frame...)
