F-U-N MONTREAL!
#1

I'm going there on Aug 9-13. I love the city and this will be my third time. Does anyone have any suggestions for things to see, other than the usual ones?

Old Montreal is still the most beautiful part of the city...even if you've already been, it's like a party every night there.
The atmosphere is amazing; from the mom and pops corner shops, the cobblestone roads, the sidewalk artists, the nightly street performers, and some of the wildest people you've ever met, it's always worth the visit.

Yo Bean,

You'll be sad to know that peel pub has disbanded and re-invented itself, from my understanding. Sorry man.

Check out this small little place at University and St. Catherines. It's on the south west corner of the internsection, in the basement right next to the SUPER sex (and I'm sure you know where that is. :-p) It's called Cafe Etranger - nice place for a little meal and a drink.

Bio-Dome! And in Old-Montréal, there are countless street vendors and cheap boutiques lining the streets.

Any store that sounds Jewish and you're probably on your way to a good bagel experience.

Kettleman's is usually a solid bet.

And I had such fond memories of getting kicked out of Peel Pub in 1988 for lighting popcorn on fire....

I guess you really can't go home again.

Club Supersex, though, seems to be a permanent institution.
