I was gonna continue Esthetes topic, but that is a more unique situation. :thumb:
Has anyone every had any luck with "online love"? And no, I'm not talking about porn. I know we all have experience in that
I'm ready to move on in my life and I just started browsing around and wondered what, if any, experience any of you have had. And certainly any advice is appreciated.
Cheers!

Every single site has brought me nothing but disapointment and the occasional horror. Thanks to the matchmaking abilities of the internet I've met two psycos and a girl who turned out to be 16 and pregnant. Also, HotOrNot tells me I'm ugly.

Iwould try Friendster, as I met the love of my life through there. It's a no-pay site and you can message as many people as you like. With regards to dating on the internet, it can be a crap shoot; I've had two great relationships with women met on the internet and a bushelful of bad scary dates, mainly through Match or Hot or Not, so I would troll through those places carefully.

I had a lot of fun with LavaLife.com but no real success. A blind date set up by a mutual friend launched me into my current relationship.

I'll give my ringing endorsement to hipbase.
I have a few friends that have dabbled in the internet dating scene and have met some amount of luck. I think they both used eHarmony, but it also could have been Match.com. Either way, good luck!!

Go ahead and try some online dating, what do you have to lose really? And if that aint your thing, go join something, like a club or a sports league, whatever, but something that's co-ed and that you enjoy doing. That's a safe way to meet someone who may share a common interest.
Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

I'm a fan of plentyoffish.com. It's completely free, not like any of those places that claim to be, until you sign up.
