In the spirit of Hipeponymous Day, it would be nice if we could reminisce and talk about all things Hip. Im watching the Bonus DVD with all the videos and man was it nice to see all the videos again, I know most have them from the tracker, I never did that. So for me it was nice to see them again, watching Gordy twitch in the Locked.. video almost made me fall out of my chair..lol. Since MM and MMM dont play their videos (hardly) anymore, its great to have them all in one place in perfect clarity. My 3 favorites are..
Locked in The Trunk of a Car-watching Gordy go skitz and the whole dumping the body theme is too cool, and the song rocks of course!
Nautical Disaster-love the b&w, and the video suits the song to a tee.
The Darkest One-funniest video ever, Don Cherry fighting with TPB's cant get much more Canadian than that, and I love when Gord runs into the kitchen after the cats eat all the chicken and he starts pretending to sing and acting all weird and the TPB's look at each other like...is this guy nuts? LOL, oh and when cherry knocks the cigarette out of ricky's mouth. :lol:

I've always really liked the "Something On" video. Not only is it one of my favorite Hip songs, but the video has such a relaxed, warm feeling.

My top three:
1. Thugs - I'm a sucker for black and white, and this video (complete with it's warnings when it first aired) blew me away when I first saw it...
2. Locked In The Trunk of a Car - love the beginning with the signal light flashing on the guy in the trunk
3. The Darkest One - I mean c'mon...Don Cherry vs. TTH & TPB in a "Southern Fried Death Match"...GD's "One Bucket..." makes me laugh everytime...
Honourable mentions to Gift Shop (GD in his RCMP getup) and Vaccination Scar (Cameron's masterpiece)...

I'd have to go with Courage being my favorite video. It's the first Hip Video I had ever seen back in 1992, and I can still picture Gord being all crazy. I like music@work too, just cause I think it's a kicka** song!

My favorite Hip video would be either Locked... , It's a Good life... , or Vaccination Scar. They are all pretty good though! Even if some look dated.
That part in the Locked video when Gord fakes smoking a cigarette. Was that a reference to anything? Looks too cool!

The mock cigarette in locked.. I doubt its in reference to anything in particular, of course with Gord one never really knows for sure, but I love the way he spazzes out in that video, great concept, it goes so well with the song. I always wondered who the guy in trunk is?
On that note, was anybody here in the Silver Jet video? I know it was in Toronto somewhere and people could show up to be in the crowd, I think I remember someone here saying they got in. It would be cool to be an extra in a video, and to be part of
hipstory!

It was great having all these video's on Hipeponymous! It's the first time I have seen many of them. 
I hear ya, its awesome to finally have them all on a dvd, since MM or MMM almost never plays them anymore.
