In the song blow at high dough Gord mentions being in a movie in which everyone from miles around is in, can anyobody tell me what movie he is talking about?

For the Speedway movie, shot in 1968, the technical advisors name is Colonel Tom Parker. Is it just a coincidence that there's a colonel Tom in the movie and in NOIS. I don't think so.
