ATTN: RED SOX FANS
#61

Toronto lost today too, TB did pretty much the same thing to them that Boston did to the Yankees today.

NYY/BOSOX Series 1 recap:

game 1: Johnson was on top of his game for the season opener as the Yanks spank the Sox 9-2

game 2: close game, Sox fought hard and battled back to tie it in the 9th, but Jeter ended it with a a lead off homer, final score 4-3

game 3: Yankees came back and tied it up, and eventually took a 1 run lead, but in the end they just didn't have the bats going today, and Rivera was off again. Had A-Rod not commited that costly error in the 9th, New York probably would've won, but instead the Sox exploded to cash in 5 runs, putting it out of reach, final score 7-3.

SERIES WINNER: NEW YORK

only 16 Yankees/Red Sox game left this regular season!
