I read one of the reviews of an edmonton show and Gord D said "I'm 40 and I'm still doing this shit?!"
aw man, I hope they don't think they're getting too old, I don't care about how old they are man, they're always awesome, and I'd hate for IVL to be their last album.
Any input on this point?

They can look TO the Stones, just not LIKE them. Man Keith Richards looks horrible on the Rolling Stone cover.

You would think for a robot, they could make Keith Richards look a little better. I pray that The Hip'll be around another 15 or so years!

Yes, hard to believe that Gord is 40...41 in February. I think his kids keep him young. The others are all the same age, within a couple years, except for Mr. Faye, of course.

I always believed Gord D's birthday to be February 6th,1964... making him...

In two shows I've seen this tour, Gord's referred to himself as a 40 year old still in the business. Maybe it's just another line for an upcoming song???????

I think when ever The Tragically Hip decide to end there musical life as a
touring band or as a band, we could all be very gratefull that they gave
us a lot of great music and a lot of memorable shows.
They always treated the fans with respect either through there music, live
shows or in person.
I say the day we hear they are no longer a band we should celabrate and give thanks, that in a day were so much music is nothing more then disposable fast food, here was a band that created music for the head, body and soul.
For those who have followed the band on this musical journey are lives
have only been enriched by it.

i can't see them pulling out of this contract, it was for 6 albums, beginning with phantom power. which is definately a good sign!
