Gord's guitar on Hip Live Vol.
#1

Is it just me... or is Gord's acoustic much more apparent in this live download than actually at the concert? I guess they mixed so that his acoustic is a bit louder... it sounds really good on a lot of the songs... love it on NOIB and Joe. Wish we could hear it like this at the concerts! Or maybe we do and I'm just deaf....

No, you really can't ever hear it at a show. I never have, anyhow, not even on bootlegs. It'll be great to finally have a recording with that element in it!

First time I noticed Gord's guitar was live at Syracuse this year.
His acoustic really stood out. Kinda suprised me.

Yeah you can even hear his acoustic on the Syracuse boot.

I think the possibility of hearing his guitar goes up depending on how good the acoustics are in the biulding, because I've never heard it before, but I heard it very clearly on all three US shows I saw this tour.

I was at the show that this download is from and Gord played the acoustic on a number of tunes but I don't actually remember hearing it all that much. You can usually only hear Paul and Rob.
