Like I said, I am new, so I am entitled to ask a few questions............lol

Anyways, I am a huge Hip fan, seen them baout 10 times (I know, pretty small potatoes to some of you...........), but have never had a chance to go see them in a small club in the States. Going to see them in Grand Rapids at The Orbit Room. Does anyone have any advice to increase my chances at meeting the boys? Do they do an afternoon soundcheck? Can you meet them behind the venue? Any clubs they hang around themselves after he show? If so are they pretty approachable?

I am from Winnipeg but now live in LA, have seen the Hip in Wpg. Now my wife and I are going to the Hollywood and San diego shows. The tickets are GA, I have no idea what to expect-is it going to be packed? half full? empty? How soon should i get to the club? Its going to be soo good to see them in a small venue like these clubs are. But I wanna go to sound check if I can and I would love to meet them as well, whats the drill here people? try to walk by/hang out outside the venue during the afternoon, should catch them for a soundcheck, and wait outstide the venue after the show, either front door/back door, where ever the bus is located......they will stop and talk/take pics...

If you hang around after the show they usually will meet with you even if it is only for a short time.

Also I have ran into them before the show but usually it was about 3+ hrs before opening act. On tuesday (Atl show) I ran into Paul and Gord S walking around Little Five Points catching some of the sights aroung 5pm

I definitely think the best advice is to hang around the venue after the show. It'll be pretty obvious which bus is theirs (or at least theirs and Sam Roberts) 'n they've gotta get on it some time. It'll probably take the Hip an hour or more to drink their drinks 'n smoke their smokes, but if you wait, they will come.

I guarantee the Asheville show will maybe, maaaybe, have 700 people there. I saw them in Atlanta running around Little 5 as well, but didn't wanna bug them. But, here on my turf, those boys are MINE!
