Goodbye World Container.
11 - World Container
12 - Now For Plan A
13 - We Are The Same
Vote for the album that you feel is the weakest overall and after 24 hours we will remove the album with the most votes. In the event of a tie, both (or more) albums will be removed.
The poll will end 10:46am Eastern.
Happy voting,
Shane

Surprised that WC went out before M@W.
The discussion surrounding IVL in the last round was interesting. Seems so many songs on that album are polarizing. I can't imagine the album without Silver Jet on it, yet it seems many loathe it. Understandably it's a little clunky but the guitars kick ass, which is the only song you could say that about on the album. All Tore Up tries even harder to rawk but stumbles and falls flat.
Throwing Off Glass is another on that album that elicits varied responses. Some view it as listless and sonically dull, others (like myself) love the rumination on parenthood and the slipperiness of time.
If I could swap out three for the B-sides from that time, I'd ditch "Are You Ready", "All Tore Up", and "Use it Up".

I love Throwing Off Glass. The duds on IVL for me are Use It Up, Are You Ready, and A Beautiful Thing. It got my vote again this round. The idea that it's stronger than M@W, where the only true dud, IMO, is Freak Turbulence, is an odd one in my view.

How is M@W losing to IVL? Absolutely love M@W. I was quite disappointed hearing IVL as a follow up for it.
Throwing off Glass is one of my fav Hip songs. As fingernailsonhull said, I'd be ok swapping out those 3 for the outtakes.
Even WC shocks me. So many good songs on there, it would have been better without Bob doing it.
