Eric Johnson/The Tragically Hip - 10/03/1991 - Michigan Theater
Eric Johnson was opening for RUSH on The Roll The Bones Tour (a recommendation from Alex Lifeson) a few days after the short tour with The Tragically Hip was complete.
Johnson and Lifeson are good friends apparently as they were backstage together at Massey Hall in Toronto on Joe Satriani's 2006 Super Colossal Tour
here.
RUSH and The Hip are good friends as well.
Robby Baker and Paul Langlois and Eric Johnson were reunited ten years later in 2001 when they joined the band Big Wreck along with members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Le Cirque Éloize and Canada’s premiere professional taiko drumming group Uzume Taiko for a high concept performance.
September 13, 2001 – Winspear Centre Concert Hall – Edmonton, Alberta as part of the ‘Du Maurier Ltd. Concert Stage’
October 6, 2001 – Roy Thomson Hall -Toronto, Ontario – which was filmed for the live web-cast.
