Another Midnight and Leave

Fight used to be awesome live - Gord used to shadow box himself - it was a very entertaining and theatrical song in their set back in 92 or so - I have the pleasure of being one of the few people who has ever seen Emergency played live as well - it was at The Phoenix Concert Theatre Thursday December 9 1993 with The Pursuit of Happiness and it was a benefit show "The Friends of Brian Eagle" - it was a year before Day For Night came out and I'm pretty sure the only time they ever played it live

I always hope the band will play Leave from IVL or As I Wind Down the Pines from M@W. They almost never do. Once on the World Container tour, I saw them play Fiddler's Green. That was pretty boss.

They're playing Fiddler's Green pretty regularly now, which is a nice treat to long time fans. IVL hasn't been getting any love in recent years. The only song they still play is "It's a Good Life", and even that is seeing less rotation. 2009 saw Dire Wolf and Darkest Canuck, I believe.

For years--nine--it was "Thugs." Now it's "Titanic Terrarium." "Get Back Again" will obviously never be played again.

Titanic was just played, for love of god ask one of the boys why Another Midnight has never been played? Anyone remember the petition we tried years ago on the henhouse and Someone tried to deliver it to Gord Sinclair. Heck it may have been newsgroup days, only a few of us around since then...

The Henhouse was excellent! I think I recognize some of the names on this board from back then. I stopped following it when it when to Yahoo Groups or whatever it was. I would be curious to know if its still around.

Henhouse Mailing List: RIP 2011
Amit Saha deleted the entire group for no good reason one day. He could have just unsubscribed.
It was a ghost town - but some of the conversations and random posts and people were great.
So this little piece of Hip History is extinct.

Somehow through 14 shows I've never seen 'inevitability of death' or 'something on'. Or several of the more obscure songs off fully completely. And after last night, I still haven't. (sigh.)

Approaching 20 shows and still haven't seen IOD either. Not holding my breath for it now. Luckily most of what I haven't yet heard are songs they haven't played since pre-1996 or were barely played during respective album tours.
