Maybe its already been mentioned here, but thought I'd mention it in case it hasn't.
Was in K-town on Thursday and happened to run into Paul. We only talked for a couple minutes (as I did not want to bother him) but did quickly ask if he's going to do another solo CD. He said he is working on right now and should be out in the fall.
IMO "Fix This Head" was the best Hip solo project yet, so really looking forward to this.

Paul Says:
Ching Music has 2 nights booked in TO this Thursday and Friday (June 13, 14) to showcase its' 4 artists (and to celebrate Greg Ball's upcoming cd release, which comes out Tuesday June 18th on ITunes and maplemusic.com!). Thursday night is at the Sidedoor (Soho House), an intimate acoustic show (limited spots available with a NXNE bracelet I believe - 10, 11, 12am), and Friday night is at The Dakota Tavern with Jim Tidman acoustic, then Greg Ball and his band, and then me and my band (9, 10, and 11pm) - should be fun I hope!

Anyone know what the setlist was for Paul's band?

I'm terrible with set lists unless I'm able to snag a copy. With only an hour it went by really quick. Last year I saw him do an acoustic set, so Friday with the band was quite different, but really great. This will transfer well to the tour he plans to do in the fall, but he might not be able to afford Rob as a bandmate! As he said, "I broke the band budget to bring this guy along"! He played a few new songs, so now I'm really looking forward to the next album.
And I still really like Greg Ball (saw him last year at Paul's set too). Hopefully Paul's exposure will help him out - I see he's on the bill for Rock the Park.

Good 2 nights seeing Paul and his CHING Music artists. We chatted after night 1 which was acoustic and he was nervous being it was just him and the guitar.... although it didn't seem that way. He said this new CD was recorded with a band this time including Rob B on guitar... he said with the last CD that he was not in a place to tour, wasn't ready... but that this one was different and he and the band would be doing a handful of live dates to follow the release.
