Wow...that was an amazing, personal glimpse unlike anything we've ever had before...definitely adds a new dimension to the lyrics on this album...

I was at a taping for George Strombolopolus Tonight, where Gord was interviewed. This one too, was moving, but eventually progressed into a less sombre discussion. Really different to see him like this, but as George told the audience afterwards - this interview wasn't for us.

"Its always about the goddamn fucking chickens!"

And he must be the only person who goes into an interview holding a pen!

George Hamilton was the other guest. Holy crap he's one horny old guy.

I don't see the Gord interview in the airing schedule for the show yet for this week, but I would think they would play it sometime this week, because they did reference the Wendy Mesley interview.

Haven't watched the second interview, but did find myself welling up while watching the first one...
Very candid, and also proof that I am turning into a soft tart in my old age...

Here's the full interview with George S. There's a fair amount that was left out of the version that aired. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDMcC01iCqM

Love the story about him storming around the stage trying to pop all the balloons on New Years Eve at the ACC. I was at that show, and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen him do in concert. I'll never forget his quote at the end of his balloon killing spree: "this isn't rock n' roll. This is genocide!"
