"Joe Show" in Kingston this coming monday night
#1

Hey is anyone going to the joe show in kingston monday night? The Dobbie brothers are headlining the show. Shadow and taz on the kingston station were saying a few of the guy's from hip will be there. My guess is that it will not be Gord D. Did anyone go last year? Proceeds go to the musical lending library in memory of kingston area musician Joe Chitland.
If i remember right its not at the grand theatre but maybe the memorial auditorium????

Hey Wheat king
For some reason i remember you saying that you were from the 1000 islands or on the river somewhere. Anywho i saw Mark Mason "From channel 7" One of the guy's he works with at the TV station is tight with the band.He was saying something about Rob and GordD playing a barn dance on Wolf Island a few yrs ago. Have you heard that story??????

Yeah, I'm from the CapeVincent/Clayton area. Right across from Kingston and Wolf Island. Just two ferry boat trips away from K-town Smile Yeah I know Mark Mason. He use to live in Cape Vincent. He lived like 2 houses down from me. Mark Mason is no longer with Channel 7. I think he moved again out of the area. Where, I have no clue. lol As for the show on Wolf island. I did hear something about the hip or memebers of the hip playing at the General Wolf on Wolf Island. I know the guy that runs the ferry boat that goes in between Cape Vincent and Wolf and he lives on Wolf. He's always saying that the hip play there all the time. I don't know how true it is or not but, if it is that's fucking awsome. Also I have another story for you. It was back probably about 4-5 years ago. One of my friends is a huge hip fan and he was working at a bar in Clayton and I guess Paul and Gord S showed up. My friend got to cook thier dinner. lol I think he got thier autograph on a pizza box cover. lol Well get back to me when you can. :thumb:

Hey Wheat
I guess Mark is working for hospice now. I see his band around town from time to time. The last time we chatted he was saying how cool it was to do the "North countries finest" show on the hip. He got to hang out with them all weekend in VT and the best part is he got paid to do it.
