I Wish the Hip were on RockBand/Guitar Hero
#1

This would be so awesome. Even if it were localised to Canada/US, id setup new XBL account to be able to get it. But what would you want to see in a track pack? For me it would be songs that are strong on Vocals and Guitar (that doesnt narrow it down much does it!!) as thats the main thing I do when playing these types of games.

Gonna have a think and post later about what Id have in there....

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Alternatively you could dust off your real guitar, or go out and buy a used one for about the same price as RB\GH and learn how to play some of your fave Hip tunes. IMO you will get greater staisfaction and you'll pick up a life skill that you could acutually do something with. Or not.

Ive always been a singer - the hip/gord originally inspired me to write lyrics (around 1993) and get a band together and I've been gigging since 1996, around the UK and even at a festival in Poland to 4000 peeps. I never really had the need to learn guitar, being a vocalist/lyricist, but recently I have been tempted to learn. I just like these games as you can chill out and jam along to the songs with what feels like the rest of the band, and no one needs to be able to know how to play an instrument properly to get involved.

idk if anybody has noticed this but I know I did when I first saw it!!!

if you are playing Rock Band and you are a female character...if you go into the store and buy new pants there are a pair named "Tragically Hipsters"
and under it says something along the lines of "looking for a place to happen?!"

just thought I'd add that Tongue

I remember back on the original thread it was mentioned, and is what started the whole wishing of it. It shows they know of the band, but you think that since that is from Rock Band 1, you think by now there would have been at least something come out.

I agree. This is the reason Jimy Page won't let Led Zeppelin's music be released on Rock Band or Guitar Hero. He says these types of games are going to ruin music as kids "think" they can play guitar by playing these games. His thoughts are just go out and buy a real instrument.
