As for the acoustic mini-set - the two 2000 Evening With shows I saw, each night the second set opened with three acoustic numbers. This was in late Oct, so the tour was in full swing but still had a ton of shows to go. As the tour wore on, those song slots (songs 1, 2 and 3 of set two) became fairly fixed, swapping the same three tunes every other show.
So, "night 1" was:
Scared,
Train Overnight
and Opiated,
"night 2" was Wheat Kings,
Wild Mountain Honey
and Boots Or Hearts.

Except for the opening song there - not really acoustic.
I see slower, rocker, kinda rocker.

The two shows I was at, all six of these songs were performed acoustically. Unless I am senile and remembering completely wrong.
