Pearl Jam Re-issue Ten
#1

A 2 disc editon
2 Disc, 1 Dvd edition
2 LP edition
And a 2 LP, 2 CD, 1 DVD and 1 cassette edition.

Remixed by Brendan O' Brian
Apperently The DVD is the Unplugged MTV preformance which was unreal
Comes out March 24

Pesonally Re-issues piss me off, but PJ have have a nack for doing things that far exeed my expectations, so im pumped. I just wish I could afford the ultra deluxe bundle which is 140 American plus another 30 for shipping. Ouch.

I will definitely be buying this. I've never liked the way that album was mixed. Speaking of re-mixing and remastering, the Hip really need to put out a reissue of Fully Completely. The songs that were remixed on "Yer Favourites" sound so much better than the original album mixes.

For sure, I've always thought that. The Ten reissue sounds cool too.

I got mine in the mail tonight. The remixes sound great. Better tone for Mike's solos and a lot of background stuff coming forward. I'm listening to the LPs now but I'm going to have to get some headphones on later!

I was listening to Alan Cross & the History of New Music on the radio, and he was saying that Pearl Jam hated the way ten was mixed. They felt it was sloppy, rushed, and they did not like the final product at all. Sounds as though they've been wanting to do this for a while now.
And I agree about Fully Completely.

Anybody picking this up on Tuesday? I think I'm gonna have to buy the special edition version that comes with the "Unplugged" DVD. Here's a detailed song-by-song review of the remixed version of the album:

Great Re-issue!

haven't had a lot of time to listen, but the standouts sofar are the songs off the Singles soundtrack, State of love and Trust and Breathe-really good versions

I wasn't that big of a fan of those versions. I prefer the upbeat originals. I'm a big fan of the remix on the actual album. I hadn't listened to Ten in years because it was extremely overplayed (mostly by my hand) but now I can't get enough of it. I'm also going through a big vinyl phase right now and can't get enough of spinning that black circle.

This remix album sounds fantastic, its breathed new life into this album that has gone stale on me for years now. The songs are cleaner and sound great.

Black never sounded so awesome.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Fully Completely reissued with 4 new tracks, remixed with a DVD release of Heksenketel and some other various promo material?
Sounds like a bang-up-idea to me.

Finally picked this up at HMV tonight. The remixed album sounds amazing. It's a lot punchier and much more lively.
