It was the annual Heritage Festival, but now it's called Summer Rocks the Bay.
Dates: August long weekend. Friday Aug 1st headlined by Blue Rodeo, Sunday August 3rd headlined by Hedley and the story is the Hip will headline on Saturday Aug 2nd.

I'm an ass.
I went on what I thought was a done deal vs. a possible deal.
Turns out The Hip wanted a certain amount of money that the organizers were not willing to cough up, so instead the headliner for Saturday night is David Wilcox. Wow.
A bit of step down I'd say. Instead of a few hundred grand, all they have to spend is $35 on a bottle of whiskey.
I'm sorry for listening to my once thought reliable source.
