I'm considering minoring and/or majoring in music to compliment the specialist program I'm in right now, however; in order to enter into any performance courses one is required to complete Royal Conservatory of Music Grade II Rudiments or equivelant. Does anybody know anything about RCM courses and how I would go about completing them? Do I need to actually attend the RCM in Toronto or can I somehow take courses through a more local and private instructor? How long does it usually take to complete the courses?
