Hotels
#1

Looking to head out to Niagra Falls or Montreal for a couple of days with the girlfriend in December, and I'm just curious whether anybody knows anything about the age limitations with regards to hotel bookings? We're both 18 and I'm not sure if there's going to be any major problems with regards to being able to check in to a hotel.

Call the hotels you are interested in staying at and see what they say.

I think all they'd care about is that you're old enough to have a credit card to reserve the room.

I did... and went with "call the hotel" even though I think that if you are 18, and have a credit card to book the rooms you should be OK... but for the cost of a phone call you can ensure there isn't an embarrassing moment at reception when they turn you away.

thankya, I had called a couple of different places, and most were saying 19+. And those damn people they have working at the call in centers don't know anything, they'd give me different information than their website and when I told them that they'd all say, well it's one or the other. Thanks again, I did end up finding one that would take me.

I have never had a hotel ask me for proof of age?? As long as I had a credit card to pay for the room, I never had a hassle.............but then again, maybe my continually receding hairline acts as my age of majority card when I check in... Sad
