So what does everyone think The Hip will be up to this year? Will they release an album that will put them back at the top of the charts? Will they release a Greatest Hits package? Will they take the year off like in 2001? Will they tour? What's everyone think?

I don't think they are ready for a Grestest Hits. I really hope they do a Arena tour. But how they ended there Europe Tour I don't think we will he alot of The Hip, maybe a Gord solo tour?
I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

I would also like to see some AEW footage as well on a dvd as there were some "gems" played on that tour...like apartment song in prince george!

Tony, I rememeber looking at the setlist a while after the show and seeing apartment song but i couldnt remeber them playing it, but i thought with them playing 30 or so songs maybe i just had a mental block. Well anyway that is a song they should put in the rotation(in my humble opinion)

Yeah I agree with my fellow Hipsters that a DVD is well overdue!!!! I would love to see some live video of the Ottawa,Darien Lakes (Buffalo) and Syracuse shows on there!!!! Shows that I attended. Go Hip!!!! Peace

I think it is also time for a Heksenketel DVD. My guess is that the Hip probably don't like it, so they won't release it but I am hoping!
I'd love a music video compelation DVD too. Sweet!
I guess I don't have any predictions for '03 though. I think their next studio album will be released in winter '04.

well i guess with the announcement of Gord's new solo album, probably no new hip stuff this year so i'm inclined to agree with Matt, probably new album in the new year. Hopefully a Gord tour though, one that will bring him West over the mountains!!
