i pulled up some great tix for 2 just now, but i dont know how well i'd trust the venue's website/store

i think the slow sales is basically because of the island being overwhelmed by concerts this summer, also the very small population and probably some ppl's mentally "the hip? saw them last summer...lets go see nickelback!"

i still didnt get a ticket since i was inbetween jobs at the time of the presale, hopefully there's some left in early july, i cant miss this!!

here's hoping the ticket sales pick up after us islanders get out of debt and see the summer shows (me = white stripes)

Yeah if ticket sales are kind of slow right now, i wouldn't be surprised if they picked up once some of these others bigger concerts are behind us. Buckcherry on June 29th, Nickelback June 30th, The White Stripes July 11th, and Aerosmith July 21st (throw in Shoreline too in July). I'm really looking forward to July as i have tickets to all of the above (except Shoreline).

Thanks kleh. I kind of thought from the email confirmation i got when i bought the tickets that it sounded like you wouldn't be able to pick the tickets up until the night of the concert but wasn't really sure, which is why i asked.

No i've never been to Shoreline, but yeah from what i've heard it sounds like a blast. A friend of mine works for Source Secruity and he's worked at it the last couple of summers & loves it...though i guess it poured last year.
