And yes I’ve been to 5 Nascar races. Here’s the thing about Nascar. You can bring your own beer to your seat! Last time there were two of us and we brought 66 beers. Walked out with 4. That’s why Americans love Nascar

PS Ive driven near Ancaster, ON. I sometimes I would take the 403 to get to the 401 on my way home to Michigan. Im from MI but went to school in upstate NY. Cutting through Canada was the quickest way home

Imagine my surprise during a recent trip to Sun Valley, ID when I discovered the beer of choice in the lodge was PBR in a can! Sun Valley is one of the wealthiest ski resorts in the US (it’s where my illustrious Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger broke his leg a few months back). There were several buckets full of ice and PBR behind the bar? Then last week I was in a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles and the featured beer on tap was PBR, no joke. Isn’t that kind of like going to a nice seafood restaurant and the “Catch of the Day” is Star-Kist Tuna?

I guess PBR is an American guilty pleasure, kind of like NASCAR. Though not a fan, I’ll still watch a few laps on a Sunday afternoon. I discovered it’s not all about turning left; there is a considerable amount of strategy involved. However, it seems most of the strategy centers around when you make your last trip to the gas station (get some gas, rotate the tires, wipe down the windshield, and I’m ready for the final 20 laps).
