Yea Nutty, I heard that they were going to make an announcement monday morning @ 7:15. Unfortunately I was unable to wake up that early to hear it. Maybe you should fire off an email to Wheeler to see what the announcement was...

Today they played an acoustic bobcaygeon snippet, and the apparent "HUGE Hip Fan" couldn't guess it. He got the tickets anyways....

BUMP!!
Tomorrow morning (October 13th), At 10:00 AM Eastern, Gord Downie will be live in studio at power 97. Streaming audio of the interview will be at http://www.power97.com. Apparently there will also be some sort of street hockey showdown with Gord between the Pipes! Should be GOLD!!!
I'll also ask if anyone is willing to capture this interview, as I'm sure it would be a cool addition to Hipbase Radio (Here's lookin' at you Bonner :thumb
.
Power 97 will also be playing Tragically Hip Double Shots over the weekend. This will be back-to-back songs of Tragically Hip, both new and old over the airwaves.
