I've searched everywhere for TTH bass tabs and sheet music, can't seem to find any, anyone know if there is any or if they know the publisher of them, thanks.

for the most part Nautical is just E-D-G-D and by playing along to the album (or in a band) you can pretty much figure out the timings and nuances by ear.

Close, that part is played on the 1st and 3 rd time. But it does repeat through the song except for the solo which is Em-G-C-D

So the main part is:
Em-D-G-D

Then the solo is over this. Also the song ends on this progression
Em-G-C-D

For Opiated, I will need to go back and listen to it since its been a while. But from memory (chords)

Verse:

Chorus:
G-D-Em

Im kinda of playing it in my head so might be off, but give this a try. This isnt the tab but just use the root note and take it from there. Gord likes to play high on the neck so try the root a couple of octives up.
Also there is no Em on bass so just play an E. Both these songs are in standard tuning as well

I'll concede I over-simplified.

I'll argue that the same bass shapes are used throughout and just the emphasis changes, however.

I thinking of starting a thread to talk about the Hip music and how they perform it. I admit I dont understand it. I mean Rob basically just "colors" the song and Paul plays the backing main parts (minus ABAC and songs like that where Rob does it all). You know what I mean? Add in Gord on the bass and they haev unique sound.

Personally I’d love to learn more about the Hips music and how the rest of you guys view the music. Those guys that did most of the tabs should be able to shed some light. Or maybe Im the only one haha…wouldn’t be the first time :lol:
