Awesome article. I like the fact that the Hip changed their attitudes about being inducted after they saw U2 being inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting that the article mentions parallels between U2 and the Hip. I've been thinking about those for a while--not in terms of musical similarities, but the personal interactions within the band, the sense of the collective, their shared songwriting approach and the like. (Plus both bands have riveting frontmen who don't accept the idea that people turn out specifically to see them.)
Very cool. And I see the sidebar on the right still includes the link to Robby's appearance on Canada AM a while back. VERY cool!
