Since someone just posted a question regarding best bootleg songs, it would seem appropriate to find out what people's favorite hip boots are. Best quality or favorite show.

Well this is certainly a tough question to answer considering I have over 150 shows now...I can't imagine how tough it would be for Rory to make a choice, lol. But I would have to say my favorite show for quality and Goride rants would have to be December 12th, 1998 at Modjeska Milwaukee. The awsome "I'm dreaming of white christmas" right before On The Verge, an awesome verion of Poets, 100th Meridian middle was just totally stellar, the ending of Emperor Penguin and more. The 1998-1999 Phantom Power was just so awesome with all the new things in the works. Anyways, that's my pick, I'll let someone else speak up now.

Hey folks...
Well, with roughly 420 shows in my collection, you would think it hard to pick a favorite... not so. Ever since I heard 8/22/98 Toledo, I knew it would be a favorite for years to come, and even with the great new tour boots, and many many before that, it still stands out as my favorite boot of all time. The boys were very "on", and the setlist was a dream. The boot sound quality itself is really great for an audience recording. I prefer to have a bit of audience noise in my boots... I'm not really fond of soundboard recordings, where all you can hear is the band.
The Toledo show was full of fantastic Gord rants, as well. It was the first show I transferred to CD when I got a burner, because the tape was going to waer out over time, and I'd never forgive myself if I let that happen!
